elopement.  just the three of us.  the whole lincoln park conservatory to ourselves at sunset.  

excitement.

anticipation.

joy.

this was my very first true elopement i have had the opportunity to document and i cant imagine a better venue or couple to do it with.  it just felt different.  there was a calm that took over the conservatory as the said their vows to each other.  a surprise old text message that the other didnt know they saved.  talking about their future.  it was intimate. it was special. it was raw. it was real.

just the two of them because each other was all they needed.

an elopement doesnt have to be to some magical land far far away (however if you are going to iceland, or greece or something i definitely wont oppose)...it can be right in your backyard.  the smaller the better in my book. no frills, just the people most special to you in a place that hits close to home. its your wedding day.  make it special to you.
